1 Day – Preah Vihear Tour
Overview
On this tour, we’ll take the long drive out to Preah Vihear in the north of Cambodia on the Thai Border. This old Hindu temple was one of the favorites of the Khmer kings and was subsequently added to over the centuries. It is a few hours drive to reach Preah Vihear and then we have to transfer to 4×4 to make it up the steep mountain.
When you get to the top, the long drive will all be worth it. You’ll get a great view of Thailand from the top of the 525m cliff. You can spend a relaxing few hours exploring the temple without the crowds which are attracted to Angkor Wat.
We’ll then make the trip back to Siem Reap.

Visitor Advice
What to Wear
You won’t be allowed entrance to the temples unless you are wearing clothes which cover your entire thighs and shoulders. Revealing clothes are not allowed inside the temple grounds. Wear light and loose-fitting clothes to help and keep you cool during the hot afternoons. You should also bring a raincoat in the rainy season as rain can break out at any time.
